I have gnome-session-fallback installed, but I installed it after the upgrade in an attempt to address some of my issues.Is there an upgrade log that I can check to see if it was installed in Precise before the upgrade?

Or maybe the path to 'alacarte' is still looking in the wrong place - that had to be changed to not interfere with the menus in the new GNOME Classic session. Or maybe the transitional package 'gnome-session-fallback' needs to be installed? For instance what is now flashback relies on 'unity-settings-daemon' and 'unity-control-center' now so maybe if the meta-package 'ubuntu-desktop' was not installed some configuration may have failed?
